Nick Bakay’s portrayal of Salem which only he can pull off perfectly adding mischief, mayhem, fun, compassion to the Spellmans- particularly Sabrina, and his genuine concern. Salem, the cat has evolved with technology for animatronic which he has become more visible as a true cat. High school years are the years where a person grows into adulthood and she comes of age in the other realm witch world. Pool, Jenny, Valerie were fun characters that keeps the show fresh. She uses her magic frequently and the special effects with technology have evolved through time and growth of her magical knowledge/education. Of course no one forgets their first love. Seasons 1 to 4 Sabrina’s long-time love interest, Harvey, was always my favorite for a better love. The original story line was based on Archie comics which were not faithful in the live action TV sitcom version. I enjoyed seasons 1 to 4 and later liked 5 to 6 but lost some interest in season 7 of Sabrina. While struggling through the growing pains associated with being a witch and getting into lots of harmless trouble along the way, Sabrina realizes that magic is not quite as easy as pointing your finger. Sabrina is a normal teenager, except for one thing - she’s a witch! Guided by her aunts, who come from a long line of witches, and Salem, a mischievous warlock doing penance as a black cat, Sabrina continually struggles to harness her powers while wittingly wreaking havoc on friends and foes alike.
